BBQ briquettes
For reviewed outdoor barbecue, grilling, hospitality or cooking-fuel enquiries. A briquette shape alone does not establish composition, performance or suitability.
Safety boundary: fuel charcoal produces carbon monoxide. Never use it indoors or in an enclosed space.
Define the product
State feedstock, binder or additive declaration, pillow/hexagonal/other geometry, dimensions and weight tolerance, lighting method, equipment and consumer or commercial use.
Agree the specification
Set target ranges and test methods for moisture, ash, fixed carbon, volatile matter, calorific value, ignition and burn profile, dimensional tolerance, fines or handling resistance, odour, smoke and sparks where relevant.
Package for the market
Define unit weight, inner protection, moisture barrier, carton or bag, pallet/container plan, label language, carbon-monoxide warning and private-label artwork responsibility.

02 · Specialised heat source
Shisha & hookah charcoal
A dedicated enquiry path for charcoal used as a hookah heat source. It is not interchangeable with BBQ fuel, and it is not a product for ingestion.
RFQ must identify: cube, flat or other format; dimensions and piece weight; pieces per pack; lighting method; session criteria; destination and label market.
Define the product
State raw material, binder/additive declaration, form, dimensions, mass tolerance, unit count, intended equipment and whether the requirement is for hospitality, retail or distribution review.
Agree the specification
Define methods and acceptance limits for moisture, ash, fixed carbon, volatile matter, ignition, heat and burn profile, ash integrity, breakage, sparks, odour and taste interference where relevant.
Protect the packed product
Specify humidity protection, inner wrap, unit count, carton strength, breakage control, palletization, warning text and destination-language artwork.
Evidence before quotation
Require current product-specific test evidence, COA, SDS, transport review, pack specification and approved warnings. Performance adjectives are not accepted without a method and result for the exact SKU.
03 · Technical treatment material
Activated carbon briquettes
For air, gas, water or process-treatment enquiries that begin with the medium, contaminant and operating conditions—not a generic charcoal description.
Product boundary: activated carbon is not automatically a cooking or shisha fuel. Coconut-shell feedstock or steam activation must be verified for the exact product when required.
Define the application
State the medium to be treated, target contaminant, inlet and target concentration, flow, contact conditions, operating temperature, pressure, humidity and replacement objective as applicable.
Agree the specification
Select application-relevant methods for iodine number, CTC or another adsorption index, surface area where relevant, hardness or abrasion, ash, moisture, bulk density, pH, geometry and pressure-drop requirements.
Protect technical integrity
Define contamination and moisture barriers, batch/lot identification, package size, handling precautions, pallet/container plan and any controlled storage requirement.

Review the current TDS, COA, SDS, activation/process declaration, application-specific or independent testing where needed, regulatory assessment and transport classification for the exact SKU.
04 · Size-graded charcoal
Lump charcoal
For a stated outdoor barbecue, restaurant, hospitality or other reviewed use. Size grade, feedstock evidence and fines control are central to the commercial brief.
Identity boundary: wood species, production origin, carbonization route and sustainability attributes are published only when current evidence supports the exact SKU.
Define the product
State intended use, requested feedstock or species, origin requirement, carbonization information, nominal size range, oversize/undersize rules and tolerance for fines or foreign matter.
Agree the specification
Set methods and limits for size distribution, fines, moisture, ash, fixed carbon, volatile matter, calorific value, bulk density, ignition and burn behaviour, odour, smoke and sparks where relevant.
Control handling
Specify screening, dust/fines management, moisture barrier, bag construction and weight, pallet/container arrangement, handling marks and destination warnings.
Evidence before quotation
Require current identity and origin support where claimed, technical sheet, COA, sampling method, SDS, transport status, packaging specification and any destination-market review.
05 · Process input
Charcoal powder
For briquetting, manufacturing or another defined process. Powder must be specified by its process role and particle distribution—not treated as a generic by-product.
Identity boundary: charcoal powder is not automatically activated carbon. Activated status and any adsorption claim require product-specific evidence.
Define the process
State feedstock, whether activated or non-activated, intended manufacturing step or end use, required mesh or particle-size distribution and any contaminant restrictions.
Agree the specification
Set sieve method and limits, moisture, ash, fixed carbon, volatile matter, bulk density and, only when relevant to the intended use, calorific value, pH or application-specific adsorption criteria.
Control dust and moisture
Define liner, sealed bag or bulk format, package weight, moisture barrier, dust containment, safe handling information, palletization and storage conditions.
Evidence before quotation
Review the current COA, sieve/test methods, SDS, workplace and transport handling assessment, packaging specification and activated-status evidence when claimed.
06 · Controlled manual review
Custom charcoal requirement
Use this path when the product, format or application falls outside the five defined families. The review begins with the buyer’s technical and commercial brief.
No automatic product match: if identity, evidence, legal-seller route, logistics or destination requirements cannot be validated, no commercial offer is issued.
Define the requirement
Provide material identity, form and dimensions, intended use, buyer standard, mandatory test methods, acceptance limits and prohibited substances or processes.
Define validation
State required samples, independent testing, witness or inspection needs, reference standard, lot sampling, acceptance/rejection process and document format.
Define the transaction context
Provide quantity, delivery period, packaging, destination country and port/city, importer role, preferred Incoterm and preferred transaction currency.
Manual outcome
Green Charcoals may request clarification, evidence, sampling or testing before identifying a supply route. Enquiry acceptance is not a quotation or supply commitment.
Evidence discipline
One SKU, one controlled dossier.
A shared raw material or supplier does not make product families interchangeable.

Burning charcoal produces carbon monoxide. Never burn or use fuel charcoal indoors or in enclosed spaces such as homes, garages, vehicles or tents. Product instructions and destination-specific warning labels must be reviewed before sale.
